Six Arrested After €12M Armed Raid on Gold Processing Laboratory in the French Republic

A group of six individuals carrying high-powered firearms detonated charges to force entry into a precious metals processing plant located in Lyon, resulting in minor injuries to five staff members during what appears to be the most recent prominent broad daylight robbery to affect France.

The daring raid was carried out on Thursday late morning, with officers quickly arresting the suspected perpetrators and securing the stolen items valued at approximately 12 million euros (£10.5 million), according to officials.

Five staff members of the precious metals facility sustained minor injuries as a result of the detonation, and three individuals were transported to hospital for assessment, officials confirmed. A total of twenty-eight staff were present on-site when the perpetrators raided.
